People always ask, why don’t I venture into making more men’s clothing? Well, it is ten times harder in my opinion because boys clothes are so fitted and their bodies are all angles. Then when you have it just right, you have to find the right person to wear it. Boys want to look cool without looking like they are trying to at all. It is a fine line, and John Blasioli of A Broken Spoke seems to hit the nail on the head. Perhaps it is because he himself is always wearing his own designs, he knows what works and what just doesn’t.
On Tuesday April 25th at 7pm he will be presenting his men’s collection at Seaplane. This will be the first all men’s runway show (!) in the store and there will be a reception to follow. Check out more of John’s designs at www.abrokenspoke.com see you there!
